About Rugby Women

Rugby Women

Rugby is the ultimate sport that incorporates fitness, speed, strength, intelligence and heart.

CBS Sport Rugby Women is looking for enthusiastic women to join our team and learn this challenging and fun sport. Whether you just want to play for fun or be right up there challenging for honours, there's a place for everyone.

Both beginners and experienced players are welcome on the team. Maybe you have played handball, basketball or nothing at all. In Rugby all women of all sizes can participate, tall, small, big, strong, normal etc. No matter what you look like there is a spot for you on the pitch. The main objective is to play rugby in an international forum of Danish and foreign students and have fun at the same time, hence the level of experience does not matter.

We therefore also hope to see students who are yet to be acquainted with the game of rugby, and who are willing to take up the challenge and enjoy one of the most played sports in the world. Women’s rugby is a growing sport in many parts of the world and countries such as France, England, USA and Brazil have many female rugby players.

Socializing is a big part of the rugby team, both through practices, rugby matches and in the free time where the team to go out. In most rugby-playing countries, rugby union is widely regarded as an "establishment" sport, played mostly by members of the upper and middle classes. CBS Sport Rugby Women invites all interested women to give rugby a try! No experience necessary!

See you on the pitch girls!
