Handball Men
Would you like to play handball and also have time to study, then CBS Sport Handball is the team for you.
We have 2 men’s teams and 2 women’s teams that all play in the series leagues in Copenhagen. Past experience is preferred, but all are welcome regardless of previous playing level.
CBS Sport Handball men team 1 are playing in Serie 1.
CBS Sport Handball men team 2 are playing in Serie 2.
In addition to matches and training we focus on the social aspect. The team takes part in various other tournaments including beach handball. CBS Sports Handball is a good way to meet students across study lines and simultaneously keep you in shape.
The team handball game of today was formed by the end of the 19th century in northern Europe, primarily Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden. The Dane Holger Nielsen drew up the rules for modern handball (håndbold) in 1898 and published them in 1906, and R. N. Ernst did something similar in 1897.
