About Basketball Men

Basketball Men

We have teams at all levels and the teams practice 1-2 times a week, so if you like to play basketball at a slightly higher level, as well as on a lower stage without it taking all your leisure time, then CBS Sport Basketball is the place for you. Here you have the ability to combine seriousness with fun and unity.

There are three men’s team and one women’s team and all the teams participate in DBBF's tournaments. Everyone is welcome whether you are an experienced player or a beginner.

Basketball is one of the most popular and widely viewed sports in the world. Through time, basketball has developed to involve common techniques of shooting, passing and dribbling, as well as players' positioning, and offensive and defensive structures.

If you are interested in a practice trial period at CBS Sports Basketball then contact basketball@cbssport.dk for more information.

During the first four weeks of the fall and spring semester, we are having try-outs for the 1st teams. The 2nd and 3rd teams are having open practices the first couple of weeks, after which the teams are formed (maximum of 20 players per team). In our teams, we have a great mixture of Danish and foreign students, creating an international atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to get to know fellow students and new people from Denmark and around the world.

Kevin Corbett:

"During my study abroad in Copenhagen, my most memorable experience was participating in CBS Sport. I have had a great passion for athletics, ever since I was a kid, most especially basketball. When I heard that there was a basketball team for the school I knew that it might be my last chance to play on an organized team while in college. I had no idea what the level of organization or competition to expect because Copenhagen has never been known for basketball, but I was hopeful nonetheless. On my first day of practice, I instantly felt welcome by the coach/player Søren Low and my new teammates. Over the course of the season I was increasingly impressed by the devotion and skill of our team. I not only became a better athlete but I also gained life long friendships. Big thanks to coach Søren and CBS Sport for making my time abroad extraordinary."
